Get married in Venice in the most romantic city in the world with reception on a terrace overlooking the Grand Canal

We all have dreamed of our wedding day in a dream setting. We all wish that day to be really special. Eric and Christel thought about it. They had two sons, now adults, and then they decided. They chose to turn that dream into reality. A civil wedding in Venice. A wedding in the most romantic city in the world. A wedding to seal their love. Eric and Christel didn't want just the perfect location. They wanted to make sure they could always look far away together. And they did it. They enjoyed the view from a private terrace overlooking the Grand Canal.

There is always tension before the moment of saying “Yes, I do." But if son and daughter help their parents to do up the jacket or with the hairstyle, then the wedding day could be transformed into something even more incredibly joyous. Eric and Christel arrived from France with their adult children to get married with a civil ceremony at palazzo Cavalli, a 15th-century building, with a view of the Grand Canal and of the most famous bridge of Venice, the Rialto Bridge.

Eric and Christel decided to stay at the hotel Danieli. A name that says it all. A name that is a synonymous of luxury and elegance. A night of thoughts and then the next day the water taxi came to take them to their destination. When you get married the age means nothing,  the emotion is so much. Venice is magical, and they contemplated its sculptural art and architecture from the perspective of the boat. A journey within a journey. This was only a part of the dream setting where Christel and Eric lived their wedding.

First the words, then the signatures. Christel held a bouquet in her hands. Finally, the kiss. Music, maestro, please. The atmosphere was so emotional. The couple got lost in the streets of Venice, a city still capable of giving very special feelings even if it’s only for a few hours. Venice belongs to everyone and more and more people, from every corner of the planet, come here to turn their dreams into reality. Everyone with their own background. Everyone with their own theatre. Eric and Christel chose the civil wedding.

A triumph of love. And then a gondola ride. How could they look to each other swearing eternal love without enjoying a romantic tour of the lagoon on a gondola? They couldn’t. Definitely not. And in fact the couple indulged that luxury journey along the canals and then in the centre of Venice, with the amazing San Marco square. After the tour on the gondola, San Giorgio island awaited the whole family for a final photo tour and finally a delicious lunch in the open air to close their special day. A private terrace overlooking the Grand Canal. This is not just a dream. This is the civil wedding of Erick and Christel in Venice.
