From Palazzo Cavalli to Lido beach, through the delicacies of the Monaco Hotel. Brilliant Wedding Venice strikes again.

The sky is threatening and the rain falls, but love does not know obstacles. Two new souls chose Venice for promise each other eternal fidelity. In a little summer day, in late July, it was celebrated a civil marriage at Palazzo Cavalli, with the two protagonists anxious to finally start their new life together. "I consider this wedding one of the best events by a scenic and organizational point of view" says satisfied Laura Maggiolo, one of the owners of Brilliant Wedding Venice, "the encounter with this special couple happened seven months before the wedding date. We visit Venice together for days, without neglecting no chance. Bride and groom were very enthusiastic and interested in viewing all possible spaces. On the other hand, I did not want anything to remain to chance. I can say that we really sifted out the entire city, admiring the fascinating halls of historic buildings, the terraces with breathtaking views of the Grand Canal and some flower gardens. They considered carefully all the options, and then they chose to celebrate their wedding in the ancient Palazzo Cavalli and to make the reception in the Ridotto hall of the Monaco & Grand Canal Hotel, far just five minute of walk".

A marriage agency can (and must) think about everything. There is only one element in which "it is hard to talk" in case of a bad parry, and you can at least make a quick fix/  repair: Mother Nature. If it rains or worse, the date of the happy event certainly can not be moved. This happened to Annie (Kimberly Williams) and Brian (George Newbern) in the funny comedy Father of the Bride (1991, Charles Shyer), with snow falling suddenly on the morning of the wedding in the sunny California. It happened in that chosen day, in wich the sky was more suitable (to stay in theme) to some set designed by Tim Burton than to a summer wedding. But as they say in these cases, the show, even the wedding, must go on. And so it was. Bride and groom prepared themselves rigorously far from each other, and at the right time they embarked towards Palazzo Cavalli and they also took the essential umbrella. Just some cold thrills, soon passed with the warmth of love. He was very elegant with that gray cylinder and the stick, like an English lord. She, with a red roses bouquet, was wearing a matching long earrings and a garter (white).

Overcome the obstacle of "if someone has something to say", you can relax, and on the newlyweds fall the usual (and this time appreciated) rain of rice. Not only two hearts coming together. The marriage also had a third protagonist. Indeed, as a minstrel of the Renaissance, to entertain the public for the duration of the ceremony and the reception at the luxurious Monaco & Grand Canal Hotel, there was the talented Sokol Prekalori, wearing an elegant white tails, supported on lunch time by other "classical" elements. A really exciting performance, able to add more pathos on the already rich sentimental dimension. They changed location but they remained always overlooking the main waterway in Venice. Once reached the hotel, the party is quickly come to its heart, with a standing aperitif accompanied by lounge music. Then it came the lunch hour in the elegant hall of Ridotto. There was only one table, U-shaped, with a stunning centerpiece. A ceremony that saw the succession / alternation of the most original moments: a magic show of a professional magician and a tenor who “climbed down”, directly into the atmosphere, from the balcony. Also, at the end of the reception, a worthy duet between Sokol and the pianist. There is no wedding that does not include a photo session. And after the first shots around a lot of calle (venetian streets and alleys), as Olympic athletes at the end of the victorious marathon, they made their triumphal entrance into Palazzo Ducale.

In spite of a nightlife certainly not comparable to the more famous (in this aspect), like the ones of  Barcelona, Berlin or London, Venice has the ability to turn into magic anytime, anywhere. And so, finished the last dance, tasted the last specialties and raised the last cup, the whole marriage group moved en masse on the island of Lido of Venice, with the luxury Excelsior Hotel as destination. A boat ride through the Venetian lagoon, landing in the dock where all the great Hollywood stars arrive when its time of the Film Festival. Defying a summer not seen for years, they moved from the “canal” atmosphere of Venice to the scene of the opened Adriatic Sea, for a further salty drink, but giving up, just because of the tantrums of Giove Pluvio, to enjoy it on terrace. All this to celebrate (surprisingly) the fateful 40 years of the witness of the bride, along with a soft cake with several levels and a fruit basket. Love after all is not only receive, but also give. And it was really a sweet and original care by the newlyweds to finish like that their day. Long live friendship and love.
