Tony's romantic wedding proposal in Venice with candles

He basically wanted three things: an intimate location in Venice, candles and a pleasing background music.

We immediately started working on Tony's request. What was our first step? Finding the perfect location where to propose in Venice.

Venice is a city that is suitable for a romantic proposal with candles since there are many corners where to find some privacy and tranquility. We searched a lot, but in the end, we found out a little campo (Venetian term to indicate a small square), that would have been the perfect scenery for a proposal like the one Tony had in mind.

We were excited too. Everything had to be perfect for Tony's better half.

Our sweet couple from California arrived in Venice when the summer was about to finish, but the warm temperatures still let people enjoy walking throughout the city also in the night.

But, before getting to the small campo, Tony had another surprise for her future bride.

A gondola ride to complete a romantic proposal with candles

Even if we often receive requests for the organization of a wedding proposal on a gondola, Tony wanted something different.

Taking a gondola was just the appetizer, the main course of this touching marriage proposal had still to be served.

After admiring Venice from the water, our couple in love had a little walk through the narrow streets of the city, which seems to be stuck in time.

She was carefree, and her eyes were telling the world how happy she was to spend that day with Tony. He, instead, was trying to hide his agitation and emotion for the moment was about to live.

It would be impossible not be surprised by the scenery Tony's girlfriend found in front of her eyes. Candles. Shining candles were everywhere, brightening the night.

Tony held her hand, bringing her across the wooden bridge, with lighted candles on both sides, to reach that place that would have been a silent witness of her "yes".

Tony directly went to the white well, in the middle of the campo, where a bunch of red roses was waiting for them. But that wasn't the only thing he prepared for her.

Tony had written a romantic letter to her better half. His voice was trembling with emotion while he was reading, but these unpredictable imperfections are those that make a thing real and true.

She couldn't believe her eyes when, holding the roses and the letter in her hands, she saw Tony kneeling down to propose. Tony was ready to make his romantic proposal, surrounded by candles and stars.

But who's really ready for a moment like this?

A deep breath and the words "will you marry me" came out of Tony's mouth.

Her "yes" was a turmoil of sensations, an incredible moment for a couple who have being together for 10 years.

The violinist was still playing the songs Tony chose for his wedding proposal, while the couple broke into a joyful and liberating laugh. She said yes, that was the only thing that mattered.

They kissed and embraced each other so passionately that no one could ever doubt about their pure love. You can't describe in words what you feel when your partner propose in a context like this, where even candles are showing their joy through their lights.

Tony and his girlfriend set down on the bridge stairs, collecting every second of a time that will last forever in their minds and that represents the very first step into a long and extraordinary adventure: their marriage.

The notes of the violin slowly disappear, for being replaced by the silence of a beautiful night in Venice.

Tony and his better half became the protagonists of a day which, in the beginning, seemed to be an ordinary one.

No one was walking through the Venetian streets, that night of September. All the tourist and the locals were sleeping, giving Tony and his fiancé the private moment to celebrate their love peacefully and with that magic atmosphere that only a unique city like Venice can create.
