The Aman Venice 7 starts Hotel is located in one of the eight monumental historic buildings overlooking the Grand Canal, in the San Polo district.

Some of these rooms have been decorated by famous Italian artists, such as Jacopo Sansovino, a sculptor and architect of the Sixteenth Century, and Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, one of the greatest painters of the Nineteenth Century in Europe.

In fact, inside the Aman Venice Hotel we find the Sansovino Suite and the Tiepolo Suite: in the first there is a majestic fireplace which, in addition to warming you up, will make you feel nostalgia for a great past; in the second instead, wonderful frescoes that reflect the Rococo style will make you feel like you are inside a work of art.

The garden of the Aman Hotel is called Canal Garden and it is one of the very few gardens in Venice with views over the Grand Canal. It is a garden with a large green lawn, old trees and flowers of all kinds, all with a spectacular view of the most famous canal in the world.

But let's go back to the story of our lovers who decided to have a luxurious wedding in Venice!

Amina and Semir had 60 guests at their luxurious Venetian wedding, and they wanted them all to stay in this dream hotel; but the palace is a small luxury resorts and it has only 24 rooms for residence, so our spouses decided to book the entire hotel!

 

 

The day of the marriage, after the preparations, the bride and groom met their guests in the hotel hall, where water luxury taxis were waiting to take them to the wonderful Ca Farsetti palace, one of the headquarters of the Town Hall of the lagoon city, for their civil wedding ceremony.

 

 

The ceremony was very emotional, the newlyweds were over the moon and their guests were very moved and happy for them. After a few shots in and out of the Town Hall, they again took the water taxi with their guests for a ride along the Grand Canal, to discover the beauty of Venice from the water.

After the taxi ride, they return to the Aman Hotel, where an aperitif awaited them in the splendid Aman Ballroom.

 

 

The Ballroom was decorated in 1864 by designer Michangelo Guggenheim. This amazing room showcases beautiful frescoes, Marmorino stucco work and three golden chandeliers, as well as a spectacular view of the Grand Canal. In short, a fairytale place for a luxury wedding in Venice.

 

 

After the aperitif, the newlyweds and their guests moved to the second noble floor which home to the salon: a regal, high-ceilinged space where our spouses decided to have their wedding dinner.

We have decorated this room for dinner with a majestic floral arrangement, made up of white orchids, roses and hydrangeas. The table was arranged in a U shape, decorated with large bowls of flowers and hundreds of candles, which created a truly special atmosphere, worthy of the moment that Amina and Semir were experiencing.

 

 

Amina and Semir chose three different menus for their guests: one based on meat, one based on fish and one vegetarian. It was composed as follows:

 

Starters

Burrata, broad beans and mint

 

First Course 

Veal ravioli, saffron and rosemary

Risotto, langoustine, courgette and lemons

Maccheroncino with Cime di Rapa

 

Main Course

Wild turbot, “castraure” artichokes, new potatoes and olives

Beef fillet, rainbow chard and amarone sauce

Cauliflower with green sauce and roasted bread

 

Dessert

Pistacchio, ricotta and coffee

 

 

Everything was delicious, prepared with extreme care and attention to every detail by star chefs.

At the end of the dinner, the newlyweds cut a spectacular wedding cake, and then continue with the party, during which there was a band playing live music.
