Bridal bouquet flowers: how to choose the right ones
Are you having trouble choosing your blooms? Here’s the answer to your doubts
Since when we were little girls we have always been used to think about our wedding day, the wedding dress we would have loved to wear and the flowers we would have wanted for our wedding bouquet.
But now those dreams are coming true and you have the chance to wear that wonderful white dress and hold the perfect bridal bouquet.
Now the question is: how to choose the wedding flowers for your bouquet? In this post, we’ll show you some wedding bouquets we prepared for the brides we organized the wedding for. We are sure you’ll find some inspiration to find the flowers for your own bouquet.
A red and white wedding bouquet
Dahlias, lisianthus, bouvardias, freesias, and branched roses are the flowers that compose Jenny’s bouquet. She married Davide in a secret garden in Venice, and since red is the color of China, her home country, we created a bouquet that could represent her and the connection between China and Italy (where Davide comes from).
Dahlias are the symbol of our commitment to our partner, lisianthus flowers represent the joining of two people for a lifelong bond, and bouvardia flowers are the representation of enthusiasm. We also added some freesias which symbolize trust and some red roses, the unmistakable expression of love.
Pink roses and peonies for your bridal bouquet
Alexandra and Michael are a couple who got married in the Venice town hall (Palazzo Cavalli) with a civil ceremony. We prepared for her a nice and delicate bouquet, composed of pink roses, the classic symbol of grace and elegance to reflect Alexandra’s personality and peonies, which represent the romantic love between two people and the beauty in all forms. There were some white spray roses too, which symbolize purity, innocence, and youthfulness.
Calls bouquet: simple but very elegant
Calla Lily flowers are for princesses and Marina was definitely the most beautiful Armenian princess we have ever met. It’s not by chance that her bouquet was only made of calls, which are the symbol of magnificent and overwhelming beauty, according to Ancient Greek tradition. As you can see from the picture below, she was fabulous in her white dress, holding her calls bouquet.

A triumph of lilac hydrangeas
Hydrangeas are the symbol of abundance and prosperity, the perfect greeting for a couple who decides to share their life together forever.
We made a bridal blue-and-white hydrangeas bouquet for Daniela, a sweet girl we had the pleasure to organize the wedding for. She married Christoph inside San Moisè Church, and her sisters were holding the same bouquet as hers.
Hydrangeas are for gentle brides, who have a deep sensitivity… do you think this bouquet would be good for you? Or maybe you’re more a red-roses-bouquet bride.
The final decision is yours and it’s about your personality and feelings, we can just tell you the meaning of flowers.
