A special corporate party on a boat the Redentore night!
We had the pleasure of organizing a corporate event for the inauguration of the new NH Hotel Collection (Palazzo Barocci) in Venice, a real jewel overlooking the Grand Canal, completely renovatedwith high quality services.
The hotel contacted us to create an innovative and original evening event: a boat party the Redentore night!
The event began in the morning with a full presentation of the new hotel.
In the late afternoon was organized a transfer service (taxi boats) for all guests from the hotel to Piazza San Marco, where waiting for them there was a big boat with two floors and a panoramic terrace to see the magnificent fireworks in Bacino San Marco the Redentore night!
The Redentore in Venice, is the festival (of the Venetian people) which commemorates the liberation of the city from the plague.
Tradition says that the Saturday before the third Sunday in July, is set up a long bridge of boats on the Giudecca Canal, which connects the island of Giudecca to Zattere.
This bridge allows tourists and Venetians to walk to the Redentore Church, a unique show that takes place only once a year.
After the blessing of the Patriarch of Venice in the Redentore Church, the festivities begin.
Tradition says that by late afternoon hundreds of boats, decorated with lights and colorful balloons begin to arrive in San Marco Basin to celebrate together this festival very much felt especially by the Venetians.
Dinner is organized by boat with typical Venetian food and at 11.30 p.m. begins the fascinating fireworks, that lasts for more than half an hour.
Remaining faithful to the historical traditions of the Redentore festival, the corporate event begins with a sparkling drink at sunset on the top deck of the boat, after a seated fish dinner, with dishes typical Venetian!
The menu enjoyed by guests was:

tartare of tuna and mango with crunchy croutons, moijto swordfish

salad of mussels and clams, prawns

Black rice with vegetables and prawns
Orecchiette with tomatoes and spicy provolone
Catalan lobster and shrimp
Dessert
“Tirami su”, chocolate mousse with amaretto, biscuits with creamy “zabaione”
At the end of this exquisite banquet, all the guests moved into the upstairs deck and started dancing!
A fun boat party with an open bar music and colorful lights ... all had fun and at 11.30 p.m. began the fantastic fireworks show.
The fireworks were reflected in the water and lit hidden corners of the magical city of Venice!
An elegant dinner with music, good wine and the fascinating fireworks in San Marco Basin made this event a success!
