The romantic wedding proposal took place in a lovely courtyard at sunset. The courtyard is part of a well-maintained 14th century palace. Here once lived one of the oldest and most powerful noble Venetian families at the time of the Serenissima Republic, the most prosperous period this city experienced. In this palace the time seems to have stopped: this magical place has perfectly preserved its secluded atmosphere and the elements typical of the ancient Venetian residence, which creates the perfect backdrop for the most romantic wedding proposal in Venice.

How Nico and Georgia got engaged:
The stage was set, it was only waiting for the couple to arrive. Once the majestic entrance door opened, Nico and Georgia found themselves back into the 14th century. When they arrived in the beautiful internal courtyard Georgia was surprised with the most romantic setting she had ever seen in her life. We had decorated the entire area with rose petals and candles in different shapes and sizes. The steps of the marvellous staircase that leads to the Noble Floor and the large Salone were adorned with flat candles. A few lanterns at the base of the staircase and a candlestick on the ancient stone completed the atmosphere, which was becoming even more romantic thanks to the approaching sunset. Nico took Georgia’s hand and led her to the heart of rose petals we had arranged on the floor ... and finally the magic happened. He bent on one knee on the rose petals and asked her to be together for the rest of their lives. Georgia, in total shock and visibly moved, without hesitation gave the much-awaited answer: she said “Yes”! The two lovebirds sealed their love with a kiss while immersed in a fairytale setting, just like Romeo and Juliet in the Shakespearean love story.
Everything happened naturally and smoothly. Nico and Georgia were now engaged! They enjoyed this moment in total privacy in the secluded atmosphere of this fascinating Venetian palace. After having a toast with a glass of champagne, they took a few pictures to immortalize this special moment.
As you can see the photos taken during the photo shooting are simply amazing! Nico and Georgia are a really lovely couple and the look on their faces made us smile as well. It was pure joy!

It is a jewel nestled in the heart of Venice, among the infinite canals that makes this eternal city impossible to forget. Nico and Georgia started their photo shooting in the courtyard and then went on to explore the lovely small garden characterized by a pretty fountain. As it was getting too dark outside, they continued the photo shooting indoor in the beautiful Noble Floor. Here opens the large Salone delle Feste enlightened by the wide polyphora overlooking the internal courtyard. Especially during Carnival, the ancient noble families hosted in this room masked balls and parties to entertain their guests in a surprising explosion of color.
At the end of the photo shooting a private water taxi was waiting for the couple at the “water gate”. It was time for Nico and Georgia to leave and officially start their journey together towards their future marriage. And Brilliant Wedding Venice wishes them the best of luck!
