A simple and sweet wedding set in a garden in Venice

They both live in Dublin, but Ghinlon is originally from Italy so they decided to celebrate their love for each other in the city of love par excellence: Venice. We were so honored to be chosen for the organization of their splendid and unique wedding here, and it wasn’t difficult to find the perfect bucolic place for them. In fact, there are many secret gardens in Venice where you can celebrate a marriage, but the one we picked this time is different from the classic gardens you might find in a Venetian palazzo, as you can see from the pictures below.

Getting married in a Venice garden is a fantastic way to celebrate the love you feel for your better half. You’ll be surrounded by nature and the atmosphere will be so relaxed, that you won’t feel the typical stress of a special day like this. 

 

 

A moving marriage in a Venice garden in shades of pink

Sicora and Ghinlon opted for a small wedding in Venice, just 80 guests among relatives and friends. The theme of the wedding was in pale pink and light blue. We decorated a tree in the garden with Gypsophila, creating a sort of natural arch under which Sicora and Ghinlon promised their eternal love to each other. The atmosphere was really suggestive and extremely romantic, especially because of the deep and warm sound of a cello, that accompanied the ceremony. 

Once Sicora stepped into the garden, walking on the path we covered with petals, she met Ghinlon’s eyes, which were struggling to prevent his tears of joy from coming out. 

The ceremony was quite simple but so heart-felt from everyone in the garden. Nobody could stop smiling seeing such a sweet couple committing to each other and deciding to share their lives forever. 

 

 

After the ceremony, we prepared a nice and quick aperitive to celebrate the just-married couple. Then 8 taxies were ready to bring them and their guests to a tour of the Grand Canal and the city center. Seeing Venice from a boat is completely different from seeing it from its streets, sometimes it totally seems like another city.

 

 

Wedding reception in a secret garden in Venice

Right after the tour Sicora, Ghinlon and their guests arrived in another secret garden of Venice (if you want to know which Venice garden we chose for them, don’t hesitate to contact us in private, we’ll be happy to tell you all about every secret garden we usually organize ceremony at). 

This secret garden in the heart of Venice has a patio, where we arranged everything for the wedding dinner, but before starting with the dinner itself, we entertained everyone with some live music. The mellow sound of a sax mixed with the notes of a keyboard and the tender voice of the singer created the perfect atmosphere.

Every table had the name of a place around the world, such as San Francisco, Singapore, and Melaka. 

It was a touching night, especially when Sicora and Ghinlon cut the wedding cake together. They couldn’t stop smiling and nor do we.
