Getting married in Venice, the most romantic city in the world, in the Church of the Redeemer

The religious wedding in the Church of the Redeemer in Venice, the religious ceremony of Valerie and Brett, unforgettable day in the magic Venice Italy . The two Americans from Chicago chose a dream setting for their wedding: the city of Venice. They imagined Venice when they saw postcards or television documentaries, but the reality is much more magical and exciting. Now Valerie and Brett are hand in hand in the most romantic city in the world. Brett and Valerie crossed the Atlantic Ocean, thousands of miles to be here today.  They are ready to get married in Venice.

Staying in a luxurious hotel of Venice, Brett and Valerie are getting ready before going to the island of Giudecca, where their wedding is going to take place. They chose the Church of the Redeemer, a religious building very famous because of the Festival held every summer in July. During this Festival, very important for Venetians and not only, a bridge is built to connect this island, and especially this Church, with the nearby area called Zattere. Today is not the day of the fireworks typical of the Redeemer Festival, today is the day of the triumph of love.

Valerie is beautiful, with a delicate white gown with long train, veil and laced top with arms partially covered. And sparkling blue heels. A dress from another time that perfectly matches with the atmosphere of a wedding in the Church of the Redeemer in Venice. Perfectly in line with his better half, classical elegance and black bow tie for Brett. To reach the Curch they cross the Grand Canal on a taxi. Brett and Valerie enjoy the architecture of Venice from this unique water-path.

It is a sparkling day in Venice, the sky is blue with small white clouds. Once inside the church, the atmosphere is solemn. Designed by Palladio in the second half of the 16th century and made of white marble, the Church of the Redeemer houses some precious works of important painters of the time: Domenico Tintoretto, son of Jacopo Paolo Veronese, and Jacopo Palma il Giovane. Valerie, Brett and the Church of the Redeemer speak the same language: solemnity and tradition. The ceremony begins. The bride and groom are in front of the priest, with the witnesses behind them. Venice blesses the religious wedding of Valerie and Brett.

Brett and Valerie are now husband and wife. To make their wedding in Venice truly worthy of a dream setting, just a detail is still missing: a gondola ride. Like a walk on the water for the newlyweds. Everything has already been planned, so they just have to go aboard and enjoy a city unique in the world.  During the gondola ride, the light and the salt air exalt the love of Valerie and Brett. After the gondola they go again aboard a taxi. Brett and Valerie look into their eyes. Just some hours before they were getting married with a religious ceremony in the Church of the Redeemer, but it seems a lifetime. Starting with this special day in Venice, Brett and Valerie will live together forever.
