Ca’ Sagredo is a Venetian palace located in the Cannaregio district, that was built in 1382. Sagredo's were a noble family who loved art, and you can easily tell it by looking at the ceilings of the palace, all decorated with plasters and frescoes, and the several paintings on the walls signed by famous painters such as Giambattista Tiepolo and Sebastiano Ricci.

 

 

The grandiose marble staircase, called Scalone del Tirali, was built in 1732 and it’s probably the main characteristic of this venue.

Palazzo Ca’ Zenobio

Among the Venetian palaces we have mentioned in this article, Ca’ Zenobio is the only one that doesn’t face the Grande Canal, in fact, it’s located in a quiet and off-the-beaten-path position, in the Dorsoduro district. 

 

 

Inside this Baroque-style palace, there’s a room in particular, that we usually arrange for the wedding reception of our guests: the so-called Sala degli Specchi (Mirror’s Hall), that it’s so astonishing that even the singer Madonna chose it for the “Like a Virgin” music video.

For example, we organized Hovanes and Mariam’s wedding here, decorating the Mirror’s Hall with a classy touch and serving delicious Italian food.

In the secret garden of the palace, there’s also the Zenobio’s private chappel that is still consecrated, which means that it’s suitable for small wedding celebrations.

 

Palazzo Dandolo

You certainly know about this place, since it’s one of the most famous and luxurious hotels in Venice. 

 

 

We have organized many weddings in this beautiful palace with an unbelievable party at the end.

 

Palazzo Papadopoli

We surely couldn’t miss mentioning Palazzo Papadopoli in our list of the most beautiful Venetian Palaces where to get married, especially because it’s the only 7-stars hotel here. You probably know it with the name of Aman Venice and because it’s where George Clooney married his wife Amal in 2014.

Palazzo Pisani Moretta

Palazzo Pisani Moretta is a 15th-century palace, located in the San Polo area in Venice. It faces the Grande Canal and its interior rooms were decorated by Baroque artists such as Tiepolo and Giuseppe Angeli. 

 

 

Its facade is a perfect example of Venetian Gothic floral style, and it’s not by chance that every year, during the Venice Carnival this palace hosts the traditional Ballo del Doge, a prestigious masquerade ball in full Venetian style. 

 

Palazzo Contarini Polignac

Built during the 15th century, Palazzo Contarini Polignac still distinguishes itself for its monumental façade, covered with marble, which shows a strong Tuscan influence in its shape. 

 

 

This palace is the symbol of an important evolution that would have affected the whole Venetian architecture. The painter Giandomenico Tiepolo was the one who painted its interiors, that we can still partially admire today.
