Extraordinary wedding reception at Aman Resort, Venice Italy

Like many couples who want to get married in Venice, Vita and Yuriy were afraid of managing their wedding organization remotely but as you can read from their review below, it’s just a matter of trust. 

One of the most important things a wedding planner has to do is building a trustworthy relationship with the couple, especially if they are getting married away from their hometowns. It doesn’t matter if you’re not going to see the place where your wedding will take place in person, as long as you trust the wedding planner who’s working for you. 

 

 

Vita and Yuriy’s civil wedding at Palazzo Cavalli

Vita was radiant on the day of her wedding and her smile was unexpectedly relaxed. Yuri, getting ready in another room, looked a bit nervous instead. 

With her hair done, put all on aside, she took her light pink wedding dress and her white shoes, and she started getting ready for the most important day of her life. 

Vita and Yuriy decided not to have the first look and see each other directly at Palazzo Cavalli, where their civil wedding celebration would have taken place.

Vita arrived at Palazzo Cavalli in a private water taxi. As close as she got to the Venetian palace, her smile never stopped being on her face. She was so excited and when she saw Yuriy waiting for her, she smiled even more! 

Holding Yuriy’s hand on one hand and her lily bouquet on the other she pronounced that “yes” she had always wanted to say, and so did he. 

After the civil ceremony, the just-married couple left Palazzo Cavalli to take some photos around Venice, while their guests were reaching the Aman Resort Venice for the wedding reception.

Splendid wedding at Aman Resort Venice: one of the best wedding venue in Venice

This is not our first wedding at Aman Resort Venice, but each time we walk through its door it seems like stepping in a world where time has stood still.

In order to be in harmony with the light colors of the wedding, we decorated the table for Vita, Yuriy and their guests with four bunches of white flowers and four elegant candle holders. Then we put a golden Venetian mask on each service plate, that Vita and Yuriy actually wore during their first dinner as husband and wife. Then all the guests wore their own mask too. It was nice. 

 

 

The wedding dinner started with some typical Venetian chichetti (snaks) of polenta and baccalà, and small portions of scallops with watercress, and Vitello tonnato. 

Here’s the complete menu Vita and Yuriy chose for their wedding at the Aman Resort Venice:

Starters

Beef tartare, capers, horseradish and quail eggs

Main course

Rigatone wild, boar ragu and provola cheese.

Wild turbot, radicchio, grapes and finger lime. 

Dessert

Chocolate and raspberry rose delice. 

Everything was accompanied by some Italian white and red wines, such as Soave Aldegheri and Valpolicella Ripasso Aldegheri. 

After dinner, our sweet couple danced, looking deeply in each other eyes, promising once again their true and pure love. It was so moving that we couldn’t stop our tears from coming out. They are a beautiful couple, and we thank them to give us the privilege of organizing their wedding in Venice.
