Edgaras and Lina are a wonderful couple. 

Edgaras contacted us saying that he would like to secretly propose to Lina on a gondola in Venice but he wanted some help to make the proposal outstanding. 

We had a long talk about his ideas on the wedding proposal, his future bride, her character, and their love story. 

The idea of a wedding proposal during a gondola ride was absolutely romantic and we were eager to start planning one of the most unbelievable wedding proposals in Venice. 

Thanks to the information Edgaras gave us, we are able to organize the perfect wedding proposal. We recruited the best experts from the area (photographer, videomaker, luxury water taxi driver, etc.) and we were ready to make Edgaras and Lina’s dream come true.

The gondola proposal

The day of the proposal the couple woke up and it was a beautiful sunny day in Venice.

The two lovebirds reached St. Mark’s Square around 10.30 AM. A traditionally dressed gondolier was waiting for them. That’s where their emotional gondola ride was about to start. 

They strolled through Venice, admiring some of the most celebrated spots in town as well as more hidden and intimate areas from the calm waters of the lagoon.

Then, the gondolier took them close to one of the most beautiful bridges in Venice and the gondola started slowing down. It was time for Edgaras’ romantic proposal. 

Edgaras had a beautiful speech planned out. He looked at Lina in her eyes and began to tell her how much he loved her and that he couldn’t ever imagine being with anyone else. He finally told her that he couldn’t wait to spend the rest of his life with her and that he had a question to ask her. 

At this point we unrolled the banner on the bridge with the big question: “Lina, will you marry me?”

Lina was completely taken by surprise and was not expecting it at all! Edgaras reached into his pocket to pull out the ring and popped the question. She said yes and tears of joy streamed down her face.

Edgaras put the ring on her finger and the couple shared a sweet kiss. 

They couldn’t stop staring at each other and you could tell they were madly in love from miles away! 

We had arranged a bucket with a bottle of champagne, and they made a toast. People from the bridge applauded and congratulated them. 

Our photographer captured every minute of their romantic proposal on the gondola.

The rest of the gondola ride was so joyful. The couple reached the famous Bridge of Sighs and the Bridge of Straw, before the gondola ride ended in St. Mark's basin.

Elegant photoshoot around Venice

After stepping off the gondola, it was time for an elegant photoshoot on solid ground.

It began at St. Mark's Square, one of the most iconic spots in Venice.

Our photographer and videomaker captured Edgaras and Lina in front of the Basilica while the sparkling golden mosaic facade reflected the sunlights and under Palazzo Ducale’s stunning Gothic arches.

Edgaras and Lina had so much fun during the photoshoot. They were holding hands, embracing or leaning into one another. They were both playful and thoughtful. Their happy smiles showed that they are meant to be together.

The couple made a quick stop at Caffè Florian, the oldest coffee house in Venice and in all of Europe, dating back to 1720. It’s one of the most iconic places in town, very sophisticated and elegant. 

 

Then it was time to go back on water. We arranged a luxury water taxi through the Grand Canal: it’s an unforgettable experience for those visiting Venice. Edgaras and Lina soaked up the charm of this timeless, centuries-old city once again. 

The tour ended on the Rialto Bridge, the most famous bridge of Venice, where they posed for more photos. The view from the bridge left Edgaras and Lina speechless. 

This day in Venice became one of the most important days in Edgaras and Lina’s lives.
